Backyard Football - The Vikings Edit

If you’re not familiar, this is a parody piece of the early 2000’s Backyard Sports series. I worked alongside a digital artist and had each of the players record their own voice overs for this Pro Bowl Promotion.

This video was obviously inspired by Backyard Football, one of my favorite computer games as a kid. It was an incredibly complex but fun project to work on. I collaborated with illustrator, Evan Garber, and we created a super in depth game plan on how the two of us could create this entire project from scratch. While Evan handled the majority of visual assets, I put together bios, recorded voiceovers with the players, and then ultimately brought the video to life using Adobe Character Animator, After Effects, Audition and Premiere.
